Member (MICCP)

Full Member of the institute is available to those who have appropriate qualifications and experience to manage, prepare and respond to construction claims to the highest professional standards.

Details of MICCP requirements and fees are included below. Applicants should meet the criteria listed in either route A or B. If you don’t think that you meet the requirements you can also look at our alternative routes to membership via training.

ROUTE A

REQUIREMENTS
£260+ £140 application fee
  • A recognised qualification in a construction industry subject,
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience working within the construction industry,
  • A minimum of Member level membership of an appropriate professional institute or institutes within the construction industry.

ROUTE B

REQUIREMENTS
£260+ £140 application fee
  • A recognised qualification in a construction industry subject,
  • A Minimum of 10 years' experience working within the construction industry,
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience dealing with claims as part of general job requirements OR a minimum of 5 years' where the job role demanded that a significant amount of time is spent dealing with claims.

Fee Concessions

Applicants who reside in certain qualifying countries are offered a 50% fee concession on all fees and will pay just £130/year + £70 application fee.
