ICCP Construction Claims Management Protocol
Launch Event
7th October 2026Voco Hotel, SZR, Dubai8:00am - 10:30am
Why Attend?
Join the Institute of Construction Claims Practitioners as we introduce the first claims management protocol built specifically for the construction industry – a structured, practical framework for preparing, presenting, and responding to construction claims professionally, on both sides of the table.
For years, poorly drafted claims — and poorly explained responses and determinations — have been one of the most common causes of construction disputes. The ICCP Protocol sets out a clear, contract-neutral approach for claimants and respondents alike, aimed at resolving the vast majority of claims at project level, before they escalate into lengthy and unpredictable arbitration.
What to expect
Join us for a breakfast launch event featuring:
- An introduction to the ICCP and the Protocol from ICCP Executive Officer and lead author, Andy Hewitt
- A panel discussion exploring the Protocol’s practical application, featuring leading voices from across the construction claims and dispute resolution community.
This event promises to be an excellent opportunity to get a first look at the protocol and understand it’s value for those working with construction claims. It will also be an opportunity to connect with some – hopefully – familiar faces and others who share a commitment to advancing professional standards in claims management.
Who should attend
Quantity surveyors, project managers, engineers, contract administrators, claims consultants, arbitrators, and legal practitioners involved in preparing, managing, or responding to construction claims — whether you’re already an ICCP member or new to the Institute.
